Our Commitment to Safety
Protecting Users from Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation
DevMates is committed to creating a safe, professional, and secure environment for all users. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and have implemented comprehensive policies, procedures, and technical measures to prevent, detect, and respond to any such content or behavior on our platform.
This document outlines our standards and practices for protecting minors and preventing CSAE-related content and activities on DevMates. These standards are designed to comply with applicable laws and industry best practices, including requirements set forth by Google Play and other app distribution platforms.
Age Restrictions and Verification
Protecting Minors
Minimum Age Requirement: DevMates requires all users to be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users between 13 and 18 years old must have explicit parental or legal guardian consent to use the platform.
Age Verification: During account creation, users must provide accurate date of birth information. We reserve the right to request additional verification documentation if we have reasonable suspicion that a user has misrepresented their age.
Account Restrictions for Minors: Users under 18 years old have additional safety restrictions, including:
- Limited access to certain features that may pose safety risks
- Enhanced privacy settings by default
- Restricted ability to share personal information
- Parental notification options where applicable
Reporting Underage Users: If you encounter a user who appears to be under the minimum age requirement, please report them immediately through our reporting system or contact us at safety@devmatesapp.com.

- Any content depicting or promoting child sexual abuse or exploitation
